Privacy Policy
Last updated: 4 October 2026
This policy explains how Network Today OÜ processes personal data when you visit www.networktoday.eu and when you contact us. We process personal data in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (General Data Protection Regulation, "GDPR") and the Estonian Personal Data Protection Act (Isikuandmete kaitse seadus).

Network Today OÜ
Aiandi 6/1-20, 12916 Tallinn, Estonia
Registry code: 12094822
VAT: EE101537579
Email: info@networktoday.eu · Phone: +372 602 7680
For any question about your personal data, write to info@networktoday.eu with the subject "Privacy".
2. What data we process
a) Contact form and email
When you send a request through the contact form, we process the data you enter: name, email address, and – if you provide them – company, phone number, the service you are interested in and the content of your message. We also record the date and time of the request and that you accepted this policy.
Please do not include special categories of personal data (for example health data) in your message.
b) Anti-spam protection
To protect the form from spam we use ALTCHA, a proof-of-work check that runs in your browser and on our own server. It does not use cookies, does not track you and does not send data to third parties. To limit abuse, our server temporarily stores a one-way encrypted (hashed) form of your IP address together with the time of your requests; this data is deleted automatically after about one hour.
c) Server log files
When you visit the website, our hosting provider's web server automatically records technical data: IP address, date and time, requested page, referrer, browser type and operating system. This is necessary to deliver the website and to keep it secure.
d) Cookies
This website does not use profiling, analytics or advertising cookies. See the Cookie Policy.
3. Purposes and legal bases
| Purpose | Data | Legal basis (GDPR) |
|---|---|---|
| Answering your request and preparing an offer | Contact form data, emails | Art. 6(1)(b) – steps taken at your request before entering into a contract; Art. 6(1)(f) – our legitimate interest in answering business enquiries |
| Protecting the form from spam and abuse | Hashed IP, time of request | Art. 6(1)(f) – legitimate interest in the security of the website |
| Operating and securing the website | Server log files | Art. 6(1)(f) – legitimate interest in a working and secure website |
| Complying with legal obligations (e.g. accounting, if a contract follows) | Contract-related data | Art. 6(1)(c) – legal obligation |
Providing your data is voluntary, but without name, email and message we cannot answer your request. We do not use your data for automated decision-making or profiling, and we do not send newsletters unless you ask us to.
4. How long we keep data
- Requests and related emails: as long as needed to handle your request and for up to 24 months afterwards, unless a contract follows. If a contract follows, data is kept for the duration of the contract and as required by law (Estonian accounting law: 7 years for accounting documents).
- Anti-spam data (hashed IP): about 1 hour.
- Server log files: according to the hosting provider's settings, normally no longer than 30 days, unless needed to investigate a security incident.
5. Who receives the data
Your data is accessed only by authorised staff of Network Today OÜ. We use service providers that process data on our behalf under a data processing agreement (Art. 28 GDPR):
- the website hosting provider (servers and log files);
- the email service providers that deliver and store our email, including Scaleway SAS (France, EU), which delivers the messages sent through the contact form.
Where necessary to provide the requested service, data may be shared with other companies of the Network Today group (for example Network Today SRLS, Italy), based on our legitimate interest and only within the EU. We do not sell personal data. We disclose data to authorities only when required by law.
6. Transfers outside the EU/EEA
We do not intend to transfer your personal data outside the European Union / European Economic Area. If a service provider ever processes data outside the EU/EEA, this will happen only with appropriate safeguards under Chapter V GDPR, such as an adequacy decision of the European Commission or Standard Contractual Clauses.
7. Security
The website is served only over encrypted HTTPS connections. We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against loss, misuse and unauthorised access.
8. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to:
- access your personal data and receive a copy (Art. 15);
- have inaccurate data corrected (Art. 16);
- have your data erased (Art. 17);
- restrict processing (Art. 18);
- data portability (Art. 20);
- object at any time to processing based on our legitimate interest, on grounds relating to your particular situation (Art. 21);
- withdraw consent at any time, where processing is based on consent, without affecting processing carried out before the withdrawal.
To exercise your rights, write to info@networktoday.eu. We will reply within one month. We may ask you to confirm your identity.
9. Right to lodge a complaint
If you believe that we process your data unlawfully, you can lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in particular in the EU country where you live or work. The lead authority for Network Today OÜ is the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate:
Andmekaitse Inspektsioon (Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate)
